Q. Will I receive a kit or any packaging?

A. No, our process is the fastest way to cash your gold on the internet. You will receive your label immediately upon registering. Our fast track solution relies on using your own packaging, resulting in a quicker redemption.

Q. Do I have to accept the offered value?

A. No. You have the ability to accept or reject the value for your gold jewelry. If you accept, you will be given the cash in the form of a check. If you reject, your package will be returned to you free of charge.

Q. Are there any minimum requirements?

A. No quantity is too small to be redeemed. If it is gold, we'll accept it for the redemption program.

Q. Why should I send my gold to Overstock.com?

A. When a study was done comparing competitors to Overstock.com, the results found that Overstock can give a significantly higher return. The competitor gave a check for $31.60, whereas Overstock.com's value offered for the same piece was $118.95, almost 4 times the amount for the competitor.

Q. How will I know when you have received my gold package?

A. You will be given a tracking number that you can use to check the status of your package. More conveniently, you will receive an email once your package has been received.

Q. Will my gold package be insured?

A. Overstock.com will insure your package for up to $100. If your gold is valued above the Overstock.com rate, we recommend that you obtain additional insurance from the local shipping provider of your choice. Please ship your gold redemption package to:

Q. Is the gold shipping label free?

A. Yes. The shipping label is free, and will be displayed upon registering and followed up through email. Once the label is affixed, it can be dropped into any U.S. Postal mailbox. Please add overstock@goldredemption.net to your address book to ensure the shipping label will arrive in your inbox. Once the shipping label is attached to your package, it will ensure that shipping costs are free up to 13 oz.

Q. Is this process simple to complete?

A. A quick and simple process is used so that your gold items are safely and securely mailed to us. Plus you will be able to track your package from your door to ours.

Q. Where do I send my gold?

A. A shipping label with all the shipping information will be sent to you via email once the gold redemption form has been filled out and sent int. For packages needing additional insurance, or is more than the 13 oz. allowance the shipping label covers, please ship your gold redemption package to:

Q. Can I use my own packaging?

A. We will provide the FREE shipping label that you will attach to your own packaging. We recommend using secure packaging such as a padded envelope or a box.

Q. Some of my gold has diamonds or semi-precious stones in the settings. Do I try to remove them before sending them to you, or do you return them to me?

A. We recommend you remove any stones you deem valuable. We do not appraise stones and thus no value will be added for them.
